In Reception B, we have loved learning all about our topic “Under The Sea”.

Having enjoyed reading the story, “Commotion in the Ocean” by Giles Andreae, the children eagerly set about researching and finding out about all the strange and curious sea-creatures from the story. In particular, they were thrilled to learn about “the most amazing creatures” from the part of the story that focuses on the deep-sea.

In doing so, the breadth of vocabulary the children acquired was phenomenal and the children wanted to show everybody by making their own class video; each child confidently reciting their favourite part of the story.
